Unfolds into a short D-handle shovel; fold the blade 90 degrees to form a pick; use the sharpened edge as an axe; use the serrated edge as a cutting saw; fold closed and it fits perfectly in the included rubberized vinyl shovel cover.The Tri-Fold Shovel is unfolds to 23" long and folds up to only 9" in length, and weighs only 2.25 lbs. These come with a USGI Shovel Cover, Olive Drab (used, very good condition): heavy rubberized vinyl construction, double-snap flap closure, and two integrated ALICE clips on the back to attach to your belt or pack. The lightweight shovel weighs only 2.5 lbs.
